About Us
Affectionately known as IMCGB we are Ministers of independent Churches, mainly from Africa and the Caribbean, who have come together in the Council with a vision of unity.
Description
The International Ministerial Council of Great Britain (IMCGB) sets the standards by which independent Christian Churches and their Ministers gain recognition as true Christian Churches and Ministers. They are recognized by all the denominational Churches and large Christian bodies in Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI) and Churches Together in England (CTE); and by governments and embassies.
Description
IMCGB is a uniting body for Churches, uniting independent and immigrant Churches in this Council, and linking them with the longer-established indigenous Churches on an ecumenical journey, of mutual respect and recognition, towards the unity of the Body of Christ, by our membership of CTBI and CTE.
