The Lutheran Church in Norway exists to plant and guide congregations that through Word and sacrament can help the church members and their children to grow in faith in Jesus. We will lead people in our own and other countries to faith in Jesus and thereby help plant new congregations.
Description
The Lutheran Church in Norway is a church with an ordered service of word and sacrament as it should be in a Lutheran church – a priest or pastor. The ministry of the priesthood is one of the services/gifts of grace in the congregation and where we need everyone in the congregation involved with the abilities and contributions that they want and can use in the community.
Description
We believe that the Bible, the Old Testament and the New Testament, are the faithful and infallible words of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and written by prophets and apostles appointed by God. The Bible is our only source and guide for faith, doctrine, and life.
